The Greatest Band Ever... Period.

Vegas Update #3: Love

* If you ever waver in your belief that The Beatles are the greatest rock and roll band of all time, if you ever start to think that they're played out and maybe a little overrated, do yourself a favor: fly to Vegas and see Love.  You'll never have doubts again.

* I cannot even begin to describe how amazing this show was.  It would even have been tolerable without the remixed Beatles soundtrack.  And for me that's saying something, especially since I've never been a big Cirque du Soliel fan.  The sound is incredible, the visuals are spectacular, and some of the choreographed stunts are mindblowingly awesome.  I know I shouted "whoa!" at least twice.

* At any given moment there are about 9 billion things that could go wrong, sending the show into utter chaos.  And somehow for 90 straight minutes, everything is perfect.  It's simply a breathtaking show.  A must see.  If you only see one Beatles-related Vegas show at the Mirage all year, make it this one.  Etc.

* My bride has now won about $500.00 from penny slots.  I've walked away with three cash vouchers totally exactly 50 cents.
